Vice Chair Intro: Alana Yang

 Hi everyone!

My name is Alana, and I'll be one of your vice chairs for the Haitian Revolution committee this year. I'm a freshman at Berkeley intending to major in Molecular and Cell Biology. This is my sixth year doing Model UN, so I'm so excited to be chairing my first conference in college! When I'm not prepping for BMUN, you can find me exploring Berkeley's campus, eating pho, and window shopping in San Francisco.

Although MUN can be daunting at first, I also believe that it's one of the most rewarding extracurriculars out there. Throughout high school, being in MUN continually challenged me to become a better public speaker, negotiator, and more informed world citizen. I hope you leave BMUN feeling like you grew in the same way. I'm looking forward to hearing some dynamic debate and meeting you all in March!
